404 Washington Avenue
404 Washington Avenue is known as "the most photographed building" in Miami Beach. The mixed-use office building is composed of an eight-story fully illuminated glass-block tower which is lit by a multi-colored lighting system which can be programmed to change colors continuously.
Washington AvenueThis is an award-winning design and the largest glass-block tower in the world. It is located on an entire block in South Beach bordered by Fifth Street, Washington Avenue, Fourth Street and Euclid Avenue. Since Fifth Street is the main entry from the City of Miami to South Beach, the building offers tremendous visibility and ease of access. The property is only 10 minutes from downtown Miami and 20 minutes from Miami International Airport.
Washington AvenueMany local developers and bankers laughed at TK's idea for Class A office space on Miami Beach. Undaunted, TK forged ahead and started construction of the first new office space in this area.
To the surprise and shock of all, except TK, the building was fully leased before construction was complete. One of the first to reserve space was the world-renowned China Grill restaurant. Over a decade later, the building is still a landmark and the China Grill still operates.
404 Washington Avenue was yet another successful TK project that was completed and sold to private investors.
