When it comes to Miami, you shouldn’t even be asking yourself this question, as the answer to it is obvious:  TO BUY!

Home prices have dropped drastically and mortgage rates are at an all time low right now. Statistics show that an average list price for a house in Miami is $229,293 while an average monthly rent is $2,165.

Due to a high foreclosure rate, Miami is a GREAT place to search for a bargain on a beautiful house that at the top of the market could cost you a lot more.     However,  INVESTING in the most expensive markets provides you with the safety net for the future as the housing market is slowly starting to recover and eventually will become as it once was.

Without a doubt, not everyone is able to invest their money into a house especially when most of the paycheck goes into paying the monthly rent, so here are the three major factors you should consider before buying a property:

- Size Matters: It may be wiser to rent if you’re looking to buy a big home especially outside of Miami in cities such as Boston, San Francisco or New York.

- Home Price Trends: Watch for them! When prices rise, people will pay more. Right now, the prices at their low. The market will gradually recover.

- Foreclosures: Are on the rise, giving buyers a good reason to invest into housing for much lower prices than previously. Although, you should ponder over the fact that putting your money into the most expensive markets is more suitable financially in the long run.

Remember, in a slow growing market with high vacancy rates, and plenty of land to spare, BUYING IN MIAMI for sure, is the way to go!
